Greece/Turkey Cruise

These pictures were taken on our 1999 vacation. We flew to Athens, where we stayed for three days. Then, we boarded a cruise ship, and visited Santorini (Thira), Rhodes, Kusadasi (Ephesus), and then to Istanbul, where we stayed in a hotel for three more days.
We traveled with Kay's brother Bill and his wife Evie.
Most of these pictures are from the cruise part of the trip.

Evie, Bill, Kay, and me on the ship in Rhodes.

We got to tour the bridge. Evie, Bill, a crewman, and Kay.

New friends Kae and Mel during the bridge tour.

View from the Santorini cable car. Yep, straight down.
Captain Demetrios and an admiring cruiser.

A duck in the tile road at Ephesus.

Ruins at Ephesus.

More ruins, being dug and restored.
Kay and the island of Athos

Everywhere we went on the ship these two photographers would try to take our picture.
Finally, when leaving the ship in Rhodes, I asked them to "HOLD IT".
Some small fishing boats in Rhodes.

Colorful nets on a small fishing boat.

A couple of Mediterranean bathing beauties in Rhodes.

Two pretty nice yachts in Rhodes, with fort in background.

Another part of Santorini island.
